Need to Adjust Your UPAC Funding? Here’s What You Need to Know.

Unexpected expenses for your approved UPAC program or travel? Don’t worry, addenda can help!

What is an addendum?

It’s a request for additional funding or changes to your already approved budget. But there are some things to keep in mind:

When is an addendum considered?

  • Only for necessary expenses crucial for your program’s success.
  • For costs that increased since your initial allocation**
  • For expenses not originally submitted or considered before.

Travel Addenda:

  • UPAC grants a 6 day window after allocation for price adjustments based on costs of tickets for travel

Equipment Addenda:

  • Accepted for price changes, quantity changes, vendor changes, or similar substitutions.
  • New equipment requests won’t be considered.

Important Reminders:

  • Notify UPAC of any event changes at least 10 days before the start date (written notification required).
  • Submit addendum requests as early as possible.
  • Standing Allocation organizations cannot submit addendum requests.
